In Memory of: Keith Jackson, The VOICE of College Football

ABC Sportscaster, Keith Jackson, has passed on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the age of 89. Jackson a Georgia born native was known for his folk-like commentary and his five decade long career coverage on college football. Jackson will be known for his accolades as well for being awarded into the American Sportscasters Association and the National Sportscaster and Sportswriters Association Halls of Fame.

Although Jackson didn't want to be known for those achievements but as a simple small town guy who just married a pretty lady, so he says. I commend him on his influences and the impact he made in the industry. I do look up to him being an aspiring sportscaster, who wants to make one of the biggest impact in the industry just like he did.

I just want to pay my respects to one influential man of the broadcast world and say rest in peace.
