We Should Have Kept Jim Caldwell *Face Palm*

There has been mixed feelings about the firing of Jim Caldwell this season for the Detroit Lions and I honestly can say that I am one of those people who's upset about the decision. Although to keep your job as a NFL coach, you need good-great winning records for your team. Caldwell had the highest regular-season winning percentage than any Lions' Head Coach with a .563 winning percentage.

Jim Caldwell actually helped turned the Lions from the biggest joke in the NFL to possible underdogs in the league. I personally believe we have very talented athletes and a coaching staff but there's still mediocracy within the team. I just think we could be more prepared for our team to prosper.

The Lions do not prepare for the what if's or the tomorrow they prepare for yesterday's news. We had no pass rusher and no running back and last year we needed a linebacker. Then we have Bob Quinn who's been wanting to fire Jim Caldwell from the get-go and the way Caldwell was going to keep his job was to win the super bowl. That was NOT going to happen.

Caldwell was counted out and so were the Lions. It's a shame that Caldwell was set up for failure from the start because there was no support from the Lions' organization and of course the fan base.
