The "Giants Way"
What exactly is the "Giants Way?" Well it's a phrase that Pat Shurmur has used to try and regain the brotherly love and connection that the New York Giants need. Just being the head coach for only a week, Shurmur has stated he's already reached out to Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr, both whom are phenomenal players.
Shurmur has said he's had an interesting conversation with Odell Beckham Jr, by saying that Beckham was inspired by the conversation himself.
On ESPN Radio, Shurmur has stated,"Talking to him, he sounds inspired to get ready to have a really good year, so I'm looking forward to that..."
Also stating how much pride and history the franchise have and how the word culture gets thrown around. Commenting that the team needs to set up the standards and guidelines but that it all has to be relationship driven.
The New York Giants has had a rocky season with teammates falling out, game losses, and injuries on top of that. That can really stress a team out. In other words, I hope Pat Shurmur and his "Giants Way" strategy get the team back on track for next season.
